"Our unit has been in and out of Gaza since October 7th 2023 with the same pair of boots. They are practically disintegrating.”

Yakov* (name changed for security reasons), the commander of this special unit, told me this when we delivered 25 pairs of brand new desert army boots. With the war ongoing and intensifying, these soldiers needed support in more ways than one.

I met Yakov the day after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Not only was America shocked with this tragedy of the compromise of freedom of speech, but I saw firsthand how much it effected Israel. Charlie was an advocate for Zionism and protection of the Jewish State of Israel, as well as conservatism. While I waited at bus stops among Israelis, I saw almost everyone watching videos and TikToks about Charlie Kirk. Graffiti, paintings, and posters across Israel appeared overnight following his death about how much his message of support has touched the lives of Israelis before and after his death.

This was a major talking point with Yakov and his friend as they, too, were devastated about what this meant for Israel and rising antisemitism around the world. Despite this, I was able to share that the Lord can still use the bad for His Good because Christians from the United States were able to directly provide Yakov’s unit with boots for each member of his unit. Just because hate seems to be ringing out the loudest doesn’t mean there isn’t a larger majority who have understanding in their hearts and truly support Israel. The provision for these boots was assurance of that. Charlie’s legacy and the proof of support from American Christians really lifted Yakov’s spirits of hope for his people and we hope that it encourages his unit as well that Adonai still keeps His promises and is looking out for His people.

Numbers 23:19 G-d is not man, that he should lie, or a son of man, that he should change his mind. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not fulfill it?

Yakov thanks you for supporting him, his unit, and the State of Israel during these unprecedented times. Because of your generosity and support, the Help Israel Now Project is inspiring hope in individual lives and making a difference. With your help, we can continue to be actual “boots on the ground” in supplying soldiers with tangible needs. The war is not over and as we come closer to the 2nd year mark since October 7th , these soldiers still need support and encouragement.

Special thanks to our friend Judi who helped make this delivery possible!

In addition to "Boots on the Ground," thanks to your generosity, we were also able to remotely help Ilan's unit, a Sergeant Major of a Golani Unit whose troops entered Gaza as we were arranging the donation. Ilan needed 70 sets of special gloves for his guys. Gloves that won't melt and will withstand the harsh environment. Although we haven't been able to physically meet with Ilan and his young warriors, we were able to send them our love and prayers through the physical delivery of the combat gloves and in return his unit sent us a special thank you video! *We hope to physically visit Ilan's unit in December.

Thank you so much dear for the gloves may you be blessed. Now we will go into our activities in Gaza. Thank you so much!

"Praise be to the LORD my Rock, who trains my hands for war, my fingers for battle" Psalm 144:1

Thank you dear friends for your generous donations to these young men as they fight valianty and honorably in a war they pray will soon end. Please continue to pray with us for a swift and final resolution. For the enemy to be vanquished. For light to prevail over darkness in both mind, heart and Land.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. John 1:4-5
