Helmets, Vests & More...Helping Reserve Soldiers with Essential Protective Gear!

I feel like i can't say this enough! The Israeli Reserve Units NEED our help. Many Americans can't wrap their minds around the fact that Israeli soldiers lack BASIC PROTECTIVE GEAR. As someone with feet on the ground, let me tell you... They do! They are wearing helmets from the the 1980's and have vests without the proper level and quality of protective plates, essentially, the difference between life & death if a bullet hits their helmet or their vest. I've seen testimony after testimony of lives being saved after a soldier was hit by a bullet or fragment and the new helmets or vests saved their lives. I wouldn't be doing what I am doing or asking for your help if the case was not critical!
I recently met with a young woman warrior, "Miriam," who guards the border between Egypt & Israel. I spent half an hour drinking coffee with Miriam, listening to her story, and telling her mine. We were mutually encouraged, and I was so happy to donate a level 3A helmet to her thanks to your generosity! I think sometimes the young religious soldiers are reticent to meet with Christians due to the horrible past and thousands of years of antisemitism committed by men and women in the name of Christianity. It is always so encouraging to see this understandable fear dissipate as they realize we are just normal people who love THEM because of our love for the G-d of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Please pray for more and more Jewish people to understand WHY we love and support them. Please pray for *Miriam as she fights and protects her G-d given inheritance.
We recently visited Netzach Yehuda, the religious unit fighting in Gaza, and we were able to coordinate with a local Messianic Congregation here in Israel, King of Kings Jerusalem, and bring them top-level vests essential for their drivers and gunners. You know what was so special? They took the time to print out certificates of appreciation, and then the leader quietly took me aside and asked for more of the Scriptures (Psalm 59 & 27) with a personal drawing I had given to just a few of them. Please pray for physical & spiritual protection for these young, brave men, many of whom have given up their families to serve in the IDF and many of whom are lone soldiers and have no family in Israel to go back to.
I was reluctant to leave Israel for a month, but due to visa issues, I am currently spending a month in the United States. A lot is happening even while I'm here, and I hope to update you all soon! Unexpectedly, someone donated a significant amount, which allowed me to equip a small unit in Gaza with top-quality helmets. I'll share about this and more in the next blog. Until then, please continue to pray for financial support, for opportunities to speak with people here in the U.S. about what God is doing, and for God's guidance and protection of His people as we face unprecedented spiritual and physical battles in Israel and around the world.
