Project Quiet Waters Update

Project Quiet Waters is officially underway! We had the opportunity to bless our first family through this new and unique project. Because of your generosity and support for Israel, we were able to send a special young couple on a weekend retreat to the Dead Sea.

The vision for Quiet Waters is to help families under emotional and financial strain during war; especially for those who have family members that have been deployed in service or are displaced. There are many stressors that come with the hardships of war and so we seek to utilize the gifts of hospitality to send burnt-out Israeli families someplace where they can be rejuvenated and refreshed.

Isaiah 58:11 Adonai will always guide you; he will satisfy your needs in the desert, he will renew the strength in your limbs; so that you will be like a watered garden, like a spring whose water never fails.

“Hi Neomi, we wanted to say thank you for all the support and love, as well as your support in all things throughout the war, and I wanted to say thank you in particular for the gift to me and my wife at the Dead Sea.”

There are many more families such, as this young couple, who need a reprieve. In these troubling times, what is needed most is hope, encouragement, and strength. Partnering with us through Quiet Waters would provide for the opportunity to send more families like this beautiful couple to be blessed. Beyond just sending them on a retreat, we take time to listen to their hearts, pray with them, and give a letter of encouragement to know that they are supported, cared for, and that their emotional needs are seen.

Psalm 34:18 Adonai is near those with broken hearts; he saves those whose spirit is crushed.

“It was excellent and really fun for me and my wife. We really enjoyed it! Again, thank you very much😊😊.”

You can directly impact the lives of Israeli families by partnering with us through project Quiet Waters. Having a chance to get away from the turmoil of war, which is now part of “everyday” life in Israel, is vital to keeping families together and creating special memories. Supporting these families in this way gives us a special opportunity to encourage them on an individual level and share hope and light during these dark times.
