Project Quiet Waters Update:
“Hi Neomi… I wanted to share with you that the vacation you paid for us really did us some good. We needed it.”
Thanks to your support, Project Quiet Waters was able to provide rest and comfort to another young Israeli couple. Yoab (name changed for security reasons) and his wife spent much-needed time in the Galilee region to get away from the discouragement of war and to have precious time together.
Psalm 42:11 Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in G-d, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my G-d.

“After my brother was killed,” Yoab shared, “We couldn’t get out so much. You gave us the opportunity to go and really set us free.”
Yoab’s brother, an IDF officer, was murdered on October 7th and since the start of the war Yoab has been a reserves soldier fighting against terrorists for the past year and a half with little reprieve. Allowing this young couple time to take a step back from the chaos of war and grieve those they have lost has been an immense blessing. We thank you for your support of Israel and God’s people during this time. This is truly a direct way to impact the lives of those on the front lines to provide comfort, light, and encouragement.

“We’re really amazed by you and everyone who contributed. It’s really incomprehensible, thank you very much.”
Psalm 91:1-2 “He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

The Help Israel Now Project is looking forward to providing respite for more couples and families where they will have a safe, comfortable, blessed time together. If you would like to partner with us in individually supporting an Israeli family in need of shalom (peace) in the midst of so much strife, you can give through the button below. It costs approximately $500 to sponsor a family and $350 for a couple.
